Too bad the story mode is not included. It had a great 25 hours of gameplay in between 50 hours of horse back riding.
Never bothered trying the online game as I was tired of playing after the campaign. I bet it's still one of the most gorgeous game to date.

Don’t be discouraged, many people probably just thought it was not an amazing deal. I played the full game and loved it but was not a fan of the multiplayer myself when it was first released.

I still have you an upvote though because it’s a beautiful game albeit incomplete game for $7.50.

Bought this on PS4 and Steam two days ago. I have zero interest in the story mode. But I've logged 100's of hours in GTA Online, and I've been very curious to see how this compares. So this is perfect for someone like me.

GTA Online is different. Sort of lightning in a bottle. Red Dead Online is a fraction of the fun. GTA Onlinr had the benefit of almost 4+ years of fans of the campaign, a new console generation, double and triple dipping of sales, gamepass and discounts and PC and streamers. None of that applies to Red Dead Online, no matter how much Rockstar tries. Their next attempt is going to be to trying to get influential streamers ro replay it and start some meta.

Reality is, even the next GTA Online won't be as successful. Especially as the battle royale genre has started. Rockstar also has let their storytelling and content suffer because of it. Instead of award winning DLC, there is nothing beyond trying to sell those shark cardsnor gold bars with cosmetic content and not really any massive upgrades.
