2.5% on HISA = LBC Digital is 3%
4.85% on GIC 1y = LBC Digital is 5.15%

Does that mean no ATM withdrawals for Qc resident?

If so, that's a deal breaker to me.

The biggest thing is I've missed like 10 different EQ deals over the last few years.
Other than that, they have a free chequing account which generates 2.5% with unlimited transactions. It's all in one. Saves me some hassle.

The prepaid credit card is not available in Québec. That's all it is.

Yes. You need the prepaid credit card to withdraw at an ATM and it's not available in Québec. You can use EQ Bank for anything else.

It's like tangerine but slightly better offers. Often time good rates for HISA and GICs. If you're into finance, you've probably missed a couple of good offers because you weren't allowed to make an account with them until recently

In the fine print: EQ Bank does not offer the following products in the province of Quebec: US Dollar Account, the EQ Bank Card, International Money Transfers, RSP Savings Accounts, and RSP GICs. Additionally, the EQ to EQ transfers feature is not available in Quebec.
