I was thinking more like the concept of credit card and this account mix. Anyways, I'm curious as to what they release.

let's hope they don't have to lower their rates after getting into this card thinggy ...

according to the survey, it seems like a prepaid card that they are going to be issuing ...
it sound like a stack type of prepaid i think ...
if so, they should just acquire stack instead of issuing their own ...

It appears that they've increased the rate from 2.3 to 2.45% now.

Interesting. I see the new rate, however I didn't receive a message announcing the change. In the past, they always sent out an alert.

Great to hear, let me update OP.

The rate has been stuck at 2.30% since May 2017. Finally a change, and an increase to boot!

Wow

And just yesterday I pulled my money from EQ to open a new account at Motive.

I think I know the answer to this but does this new 2.45% rate apply to all existing clients & balances?

Or is it the "dreaded" new money only?

Well played EQ.
I doubt ppl are really going to use WS right now for the lack of that nice physical card...it's a knee jerk reaction from EQ imo.

EQ sending emails out to "celebrate" the rate increase:
