Oh man, for a hot minute I thought those were Esso Extra points! You had me drooling at the 28% return (140 points = $1 using the 5c/L reload card that I always redeem for).

Still, it's 4% back in PCO points ($1.95) which is not terrible :)

With Esso Extra your purchase would have been 720 points ($5.14, or 10.5%) if one were to use the points on that 5c/L card I mentioned above. Of course, better if you value a car wash or whatever that most others here suggest... but I wash my own car :)

Having huge issues with this promo. I signed up using the speedpass app, linked my PC WE MC to it, went and used the app and everything worked perfect. However, I am only receiving the base (10 points) for each purchase. On the receipt itself it just says that PC points will show up on account within 72 hours, and shows no points total at all. On the PC Points app, it just shows the base 10 points per dollar (should this not be per litre???) . When I log into PC Financial and check my posted transaction, it also shows 10 base points per dollar for Gas Rewards, and nothing else. Nothing about speed pass or anything is showing anywhere in my transactions. I contacted support and they told me they are working on linking my WE MC to my PC points because apparently It wasn't linked, even though when I purchase at superstore or something I get the correct amount of points. What a mess !!

Anyone else having problems like this or any suggestions?

OP as you are in Winnipeg (like me) don’t you already get 105 pts per L (or is it 90 now I can’t remember) using a PCMC?

Or is this a bonus on top 105 pts ?
It's not top of the bonus.
At Mobil regular earning rate is 90. Promo is 105.
At esso it's 30/70.

Just tried the esso points in calgary yesterday!

Bought 91 Octane
SUPRM 54.678 1.289 70.48
TOTAL $ 70.48
* GST INCLUDED IN FUEL $ 3.36

Points Earned: 70
Bonus Points: 140
Promotion Bonus: 840
Points Balance: 1050

That's like 2 basic car washes for $10 extra (if I filled with 87 I would've saved ~$10). Not bad!

I bought 61 liters of supreme for $90. I received the following ESSO EXTRA points:
Points Earned: 90
Bonus Points: 180
Promotion Bonus: 1080
Points Balance: 14208

About 2 Deluxe car washes worth of points on a $90 isnt bad at all!

How to do you tell that app whether you want Esso points or pco points?

You can add one or both loyalty cards and then tell the app which one you want to be the default loyalty card. Even then, you can switch to the non default card on any given purchase if you want.

Is the 5c/L reload card the best value for your esso points?

The PC MC already gives me 7 cents a litre, so this would make it 12 cents ...
Redeem at shoppers and turn it into 18 cents per dollar, not bad.

Next time throw in supreme+ for an extra 3cents per litre ($1.83 total) and you would get your self approximately 490 more points.
