Do I need to add both my PC master card and my optimum loyalty card to the speed pass+ app? Or can I just add my pc MasterCard and be done with it ?

PC Mastercard alone is sufficient. At least it was for me.

This is what I got today, about 32 litres of gas and $40 spent (this was my 4th $40 purchase for June so that's where the 4000 pts came from). I can't remember if more points are coming from PC MC?
Looks like that 33x was on top of the regular PC and PC MC points I get from Esso purchases, which show as separate points activity. So (if my math is right!) it works out to 70 points per litre (10 regular points + 20 PC MC bonus points + 40 Speedpass+ promo points) + 10 points per dollar (regular PC MC spending points) during this promo, when I pay using PC MC through Speedpass+ (I'm in the Ottawa area, I think it might vary by region?).

Tried using this app at my local Mobil station (Baseline and Merivale in Ottawa). Kept getting error messages stating that the pump "cannot be authorized".

Has anyone else encountered this issue, just curious.

I think I've had that happen from time to time - I know I've fixed the issue by pulling into a different pump and trying again (which is annoying but seems to work!).

This is so confusing. I saw 70 points promo at a esso gas bar, not 105.

They allocate some points right there and some after a few days so it becomes impossible to calculate the total points you get.

You are correct on both accounts. I stopped by an esso today and used my PC MC and was awarded only 50 pts/L. Hope the rest comes soon.
But for the PC optiomum points are set at 50 pts/L at both Esso and Mobil.

Was wondering why Esso gave me so many points for my last fuel up.

For anyone in the East who fills up 93, this promo basically gives you 20x the points as opposed to the normal 4x. Just filled up and can confirm, $34 on 93 gave me a grand total of 680pts (34 + 102 + 544)

No I mean, they basically started the whole trend. Before that nobody cared about gas gift card/5c/10c off sales.

Everything I do related to PC is a mess. I added the PC optimum and my PC master card to the app. I went to a Mobile station, the app picked up the station and asked for the pump #. Then authorization failed. I tried another pump and same.
I then tried to add another credit card and it won't let me.

And I'm still dealing with PC financials, they cannot update my email address or any personal info on my PC mastercard. It's been over 6 months, they say it's an IT issue. What the heck.

Worked again for me today. 67 regular points and 268 promotion points. Paid with gift card on the app.

Nice deal if you use PC Optimum for grocery. I have a offer for 2000 pts if I purchase $20 of fuel at Esso and Mobil.
