They call this place the center of the universe (aka the 6ixth). LOL.

When we lived in Ontario, the difference between Costco gas and everywhere else was maybe 5 cents a litre cheaper. Here in Alberta it's 15 to 20 cents cheaper, it's a complete no brainer.

What I find interesting is gas is currently $1.45/L in Lake Louise, AB and Golden, BC. Yet it's $1.70 in Vancouver. I guess the extra 0.25 is due to property taxes? It can't be due to transportation costs.

I think we have high gas taxes in Vancouver. Go out to suburbs and it's cheaper

I believe you do. It’s 35 pts per litre. If you fill 1.5 L, you still only going to get 35pts, 70 pts if you pay with PC MC, 35 base + 35 bonus if you buy at Mobil that’s attached to Loblaws banner stores. If not, you get 10 pts/L when using PC optimum card and 30 pts/L when paying with PC MC

YMMV?!? I've never had this issue paying with my PC CC and getting gas at my local Mobil station. I get prorated points on my gas purchases.

From (a rather old) speedpass+ receipt I have on my email I just got on the full litre;
36.281L -> 720+720

But - I've filled last week but I speedpass wasn't working, but I got 1600+1600 (from pc optimum app); which wouldn't be a round litre amount as 1600/35=~45.71 (and also shows how low I was on gas considering it's officially a 45L tank haha)

Not me, I always have to purchase a full litre before getting the points

Mine was one $30 purchase for premium quality and I thought that was brutal but for two purchases I think Shell's offer is better.

This only happens to me when purchasing meats or fruits that earn points. They round down whereas before they would round up to the nearest dollar.

With gas so far they still give me prorated points.

I got 2000 points tor $20 spend
