Esso Half Price Mondays (50% off car washes + extra $2 off w/ fuel purchase, YMMV)

Was heading inside the Circle K at an Esso station and there was a sign indicating 50% off car washes on Mondays. The sign also said an additional $2 off with fuel purchase, so that seems to indicate the discounts are stackable. This was at 550 Bur Oak in Markham, so not sure if this is a general promo that is more widely available/YMMV. Might be a response to the $4.99 Petro wash promo that is on.

It’s true. I went to Esso now. It’s half price for any tier car wash on every Monday till July 2. If you also fill up gas then extra $2 off car wash. No minimum gas fill up.

Luxury (top tier) works out to $5.5 with gas. $7.5 without.

I wonder if there’s a limit on how many fill ups per day can be used for the $2 off...

At Petro they allow you to buy multiple washes at that discount price.

Could I do 5, $2 fill ups, and get $2 off the Monday car wash deal for 5 washes (one per transaction, but ideally all at same location/visit)?

I think you probably can. I filled up both my cars and got the $2 off car wash twice.
You are issued a car wash code, which expires in 3 months.

The gas attendant said that you can buy as many car washes without fill-up as you'd like. It would be $7.5 each for luxury wash.

They had this in Markham at Woodbine / Steeles Esso as well, note that this is the one on the North West corner so you need to be coming south on Woodbine or going West on Steeles to access it (the North East one doesn't have a car wash)

Is this for Ontario only?

Just bought 5 at 5.50.

Can I use these anywhere?

Mine say they expire in 3 months. Is that true?

Esso should have a monthly pass or something like that.

Were you able to get all five at that price in one transaction?

No. The cashier put 1 with my gas purchase and then the other 4 on its own transaction.

Western Canada Esso was purchased by 7-11. Ontario looks like circle k. Different ownership, and expect to have different promos

With Petro Canada and now Esso doing this, I have to wonder if it's in response to some independent outlets handing out great deals -- we're talking $20 for monthly passes and free vacuum for their best wash: http://washmycar.ca/kitchener/exterior-car-wash/# It's not super convenient for me to go this particular place as it's on the other end of town and a good 25 minute drive to get there.
Why can't we all just get along?
