Correct , PCMC Doubles the usual 3.5/l to 7c off per litre. If this offer becomes available ( don't see source yet) double is usually on the base 3.5/l so as I've seen in past this should yield 10.5/l off. In our area this equals about what Costco regular price is. Good deal if you don't have a Costco nearby or don't have membership.

I took advantage of my app's this week offer 2k pts + 2k pts PC MC offer WUS $20 on gas at Esso or Mobil.
I get gas at Costco when Mobil gas is more expensive. After a while not going to Mobil station, PCO app will offer 2k bonus pts WUS $20. But this week, PCO added extra 2k bonus for using PM MC.

I will get gas at Mobil again next week with the 3x offer.

I have the same offer this week. I spent $21 at Mobil and received
2000 pts wus $20 or more
2000 pts using PCMC
525 pts Mobil fuel
525 pts pay by PCF cc.
5050 pts total.

Interesting... I've never seen an offer like that before. I always get the 2000 points for $20 of gas but never the extra points with my MC.

"Double points applies only to the base points available to all Esso Extra and PC Optimum™ members regardless of payment method. Cannot be combined with any other promotions or offers including points issued on PC Financial® transactions."
So it's not double the amount you get with a PC MC and they may not allow stacking (ymmv on that).

Here in Ontario, base points = 10 per litre or 1 cent/litre. With a PC MC, you get an extra 20 per litre for a total of 3 cents/litre.
With this promo, you get 2 cent/litre or 4/litre if you have a PC MC.

I'm usually unconvinced to wait for these double points events to fill up, because gas usually goes up by a few cents by the end of the week anyway. I used my 2000 + 2000 offer yesterday and I'll see what the weekend looks like.

Agreed. The points are so immaterial that even if they are double, they are immaterial. I still collect them but I don't think it is worth driving out of my way to participate. Especially, at gas prices where I live which are around $1.70/litre.
