The new generation of EVGA GeForce GTX 970s have arrived with the SSC.
This enhanced model offers improved cooling, double BIOS support, new display output configuration and 6 power phases for robust overclocking support.

The new EVGA ACX 2.0+ cooler brings new features to the award winning EVGA ACX 2.0 cooling technology. A Memory MOSFET Cooling Plate (MMCP) reduces MOSFET and Memory temperatures and optimized Straight Heat Pipes (SHP) reduce GPU temperature by an additional 5C. 20$ higher than the last time they had this in stock but looks like they're shipping with USPS. Does this mean there won't be taxes or brokerage fees?

The one that was previously in stock was the sc+ model. This one has higher ratings for core and memory

I don't think a single game is going to be representative. 1060 is usually around 980 levels of performance. Don't know how much slower the 3GB version of the 1060 is but it's probably somewhere between the 970 and 980/1060-6GB

You will be taxed and I believe Canadapost charges a minimal brokerage fee.

If that's the case, might be better off buying a 1060 3G for not much more within Canada.

so + 50$ for the Canadapost charges brokerage fee ?? for a total of 250 CND ??

Previous deal ($130 USD) I just received today and got no fees, so it was free s/h as advertised. YMMV of course. Guess it doesn't matter anymore as the deal is over.
