Would you guys reccomend s9 or iphone 8?

Currently have s8
Currently have 6+ With new battery. Works just fine and does everything I need.
Was deciding between s9 and iphone 8. Went with iphone8 due to its reliability and the warranty even though I’m bored of iphones and their limitations.

I just got the iPhone 8 on medium tab and $150 gift card at Best Buy Mississauga Heartland.
I heard the employees talking amongst themselves and there are 2 grey iPhone 8 64gb left.

I did say I was cancelling and moving to public mobile, but I was actually extra NICE in the conversation and did not threaten anyone, the first guy I spoke with was unable to do anything so I said please connect me to loyalty supervisor ..which he did right away ..and then I just proceeded to explain I was switching to PM (used promotion given on this thread at the beginning) and said I was aware that Koodoo may be able to provide some customer service support for loyalty ...what could he do...and then he did not originally come back with credit for my 75.00 remaining tab..so I asked for that in the end which he did as well for my account. I essentially got 150+75 in bill credits = 225.00 + iPhone 8 with medium tab and zero extra dollars, and then $5.00 off my bill every month with same data plan, so I guess you could say I am paying 240.00 as of now for iPhone 8.

Same. How long was the entire process? Took us forever to wait for the employee and the processing also took a long time. We were probably there for 2+ hours. Mind you this was yesterday.

You do not have to activate / insert sim/open phone or create an online account etc.

My experience was the following:

Got the iphone 8 64GB on Saturday from BB signed up as a new activation the standard entry level $45 Ontario plan (Already an existing koodo customer with the QC plan but in Ont). Got the 150 BB GC, the csr helping me did not open the phone or even bother speaking much about the SIM card etc (I'm sure they know whats up lol).

Called Koodo Sunday morning (waited 1.5 hours to speak to customer loyalty / retention) told them I want to cancel it was an impulsive buy did not like the plan. He asked me if I want to keep the phone i said yes I will pay it off. Cancelled and now I will receive an invoice in the mail for the tab cost $360 plus tax.
Tried this in BC at Best Buy and the rep insisted that if I cancel before 3 months is up I will be charged the full cost of the cell (not just $360). Grrr :(

Today is Nov 26. Black Friday was Nov 23. What are you waiting for? Black Friday 2019?
If you want minimum spending, take the free i6 now. Get free i7 next(2019) Black Friday.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Koodo $30 plan, PM $38 5GB plan, PM $8 plan to replace Speakout,
Zoomer loyalty family plan for 4 lines $117/6GB, $0 FPL home phone
