FB or Metaverse as they are now called will hire 2.5K in Canada according to the announcement. And not everyone will be in the office as many of these positions will be WFH. Most if not all the jobs are technical so mostly CS grads. Nice to see that they are funding research in 3 universities so this is good news for grads or aspiring grads in this field.
