Fair Car Dealers List - Toronto/GTA

Hi All,

In this crazy market do you have any fair car dealers selling the cars at MRSP + Tax + Licensing without any extra charges like Admin Fee etc. and also not selling cars over MSRP.

1. Mazda
2. Toyota
3. Nissan

Thanks

This has nothing to do with crazy times.

Dealerships have been tacking on Admin Fees since the beginning of time, and will continue to do so until they make like dinosaurs and become extinct.

You can sometimes talk them out of it, but they'll normally include it and hope you don't say anything.

Are you talking on dealers selling current inventory, or on factory orders? If on factory orders, there are a number of Hyundai dealers who have offered me Invoice +, no fees. Nothing else tacked on

are there dealers in GTA selling above MSRP? thought it was mostly a US thing?

even DNVLT is selling at MSRP only with no admin fees. all the pfaff dealerships don't have markups or admin fees either.

yes, during these crazy times... DVNT actually seems okay. Toyota On The Park is definitely NOT okay, it was exposed in the news that those clowns were forcing expensive accessories and warranties on customers.

I spoke to Erin Mills Mazda the guy said for CX-5 Factory order they won't be charging any fees except what is shown on the mazda.ca website + Licensing fee. He told me over the email so I hope it remains true when I visit them.

Anybody want a list of magical charges from Oakville Hyundai let me know, lol. Agreed to undercut me on my Jeep and then provide a mystery discount off MSRP. The the whopper was 2 add on fees close to 1K when not one other dealer I spoke to was asking for it on a factory order. At some point I will write a Google review or follow up with the crooks.....

Hyundai dealers for the most part are not adding any fees on factory orders either

I spoke to DVNT about RAV4, the guy said he won’t provide me a written quote only telephonic which was same as shown on the Toyota website but I think until it’s written you can not trust and said I can book the car over the phone by sharing my credit card picture, $1000 deposit which is non-refundable! And the waiting he said is 2-3 months but will not provide me with the VIN

I don’t think they are fair!

Selling "at MSRP" is still a scam in my book. We all know cars don't sell at MSRP unless they are very specific models or high-end exotics, etc. Selling them now at MSRP like they're giving you a gift? I would just give them the finger.

It's optional for you to pay them more for nothing? Who would pick that "option"? LOL.

it's been like this for past year, i mean you can feel MSRP is a scam, nobody forcing you to buy it. wait a year or so..and probably can get discounts on "normal" cars again but then value of car you may have to trade in also drops too... for me, paying MSRP i'm coming out ahead because car i'm trading in is worth more than the 5-6% discount off MSRP like in past

as for admin/wein's fee etc.... it includes junk like one year of tire and rim protection and etc.. totally not worth it, but i feel same way about extended warranties, and basically everything they sell you in finance manager office.

I got an update from one of the Mazda dealers
we were assigned such a vehicle today from Mazda Canada.

It is en route from Japan to us, and upon your approval in terms of credit, we would be able to provide you with a VIN….ETA for such a vehicle would be 2-3 weeks.
What do you think is he bluffing? Should I go and give the deposit ?
