That's what we need from you.

I set 15 / Mins on the hour between 7AM-7PM because those are off peak. I did it to give the house a boost in air filtration and temp equalization (Comfort levels).

My furnace fans runs continuously anyway (special 50W mode)

I don't really need to run it but it does increase comfort levels a bit.

I have an Ecobee3 Lite without humidifier control. My humidifier runs when the furnace fan is on. Depending on the RH in my house, I set the fan at to run between 15 to 45 minutes per hour.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.

Well you didn't say very much in any of the initial posts.

Only Nest seems to have this feature for now.

Nest has the fan schedule function. But Ecobee does not have fan schedule function ATM.

I run mine continuously 4PM to 6AM. Seems to help with keeping the temperature even around the house. Pulls around 50W for the comfort.

Yes Nest. My fan is virtually silent so might as well run continuously when the home is likely to be occupied.

I set my old furnace fan to run 10min/hour. If i had a newer ECM fan I'd run it at least 30 or 40min/hour.
I wish the Ecobee had a fan schedule, or could set the fan runtime based on comfort setting but it can't, so when needed I set fan to ON manually when I get home until the morning.

It might be possible to automate fan setting by using IFTTT to change the ecobee settings but I haven't had a chance to get into it yet.

Just had an ecobee3 lite installed yesterday. We have had the fan running 24/7 for 8 years now with the old tstat, so just set it to keep running now.

Any reason we should change to a schedule? We like the consistent air movement in the house.

If you like consistent air movement, that is good enough reason to keep to running 24/7. Ecobee3 Lite does not have "flexible" scheduling of fan motor. You can turn the fan on or off completely and running the fan for number of minutes per hour from 5 minutes to 55 minutes at 5 minutes increment.

Thanks. Ya, you're right. We like it that way, so may as well just leave it alone.

I was only thinking about the hours we are not in the house is all.

You may want to turn off the humidifier if you have one. When the fan is on, the humidifier will be running also.

Thanks for the suggestion. It is off, I only have it on for the winter, and it only comes on when the heat comes on, not just the fan.

Well, maybe. It might be different now with the ecobee3 in control.. Have to remember to check come next winter.

The fan consumes quite a bit of power and your hydro bill will go up quite a bit.. use with caution
