Bought this last night and it’s excellent. I didn’t really have high hopes and was getting ready to refund it if it wasn’t good. Turns out I was wrong and it really is a lot of fun and quite challenging.

Is it good with an Xbox One controller? Most YT reviews they're using full HOTAS setup, bit too serious for me lol.

There's a bug that currently locks the game at 60HZ so if you're playing with a 144Hz or higher monitor, don't bother til they update.

You do get a 10 hr trial, but the campaign only allows you to play the prologue (2 training missions). Multiplayer works though, and you have access to dogfight and fleet battles modes as well as AI fleet battles.

Yeah it’s good enough. I ended up switching the default controls to Southpaw preset, which is the throttle on the right stick (instead of left) and the pitch/yaw on the left stick. Works really well.
