Fanatical is legit, no worries there.

However, Total War series tend to be over-scored by media, the games are generally a bugfest and stable after 6 months or so (and I love Total War).

Thanks OP, ordered one. I've played pretty much every TW...so to other vets out there temper your expectations a little towards the reviews. Any of the reviewers I trust all said the same thing...the campaign is excellent and best in class. The battles themselves however suffer from some classic bad A.I, and battle mechanics are iffy as well. Each general is supposed to have synergy with certain units, and this hasn't quite panned out the way it was hoped.
