30 USD on Amazon right now, which is about $37 CAD. Only downside is it's a uplay key, but you have to use uplay anyways.

Guess that works too if you don't care for steam. Another thread says it's for today only (Feb 13, 2015) so if anyone misses it today, there's still this option.

If i bought and played the game through UPlay, how can i play the DLCs from Steam which also happen to be on sale?

Quick google search yielded some results of people asking from 2013, looks like it won't let you purchase the DLC unless you have the base game on steam, and if someone gifts the DLC to you and you don't have the base game, you still can't access the steam DLC. Not sure if anything has changed so unless someone can confirm it works sorry bud, wait for the next round of sales when it gets even cheaper.
