FastestVPN $20 for lifetime, is it worth it?

Obviously it's the sponsored and locked thread, I was wondering if it's worth to get it, any good/bad reviews?

Really depends on your requirements.

I bought a lifetime Keepsolid VPN subscription for $15 usd for streaming USA Prime, Netflix, and Vudu, no torrents. No problems with 4k streams. I'm running OpenVPN Client on my router with only my tv and Apple tv running through the VPN tunnel.

This ^^

Depends on your needs. Though then again it is probably better to stick to a cheapo provider and meld in with the herd.

They need to take down that post it is a sponsored and locked thread for a reason so people can't post a comment on it and downvote it. FastestVPN has become not usable at all now, it should be called slowestVPN.

It is almost impossible to connect to the USA servers that most people want it for. Speeds are so slow now. I have a lifetime sub but can not use it anymore.

Our lifetime or their lifetime?

Would this work with the HBO on the HBO GO thread?

I remember trying it for a few days when StackSocial had that $25 off glitch a few months back. The app was well designed, but their service was among one of the slower ones I've used. IMO, save yourself the $20, and use it to buy some toilet paper like everyone else.

Did you do any speedtests? Did it work to unblock USA streaming services? Friend of mine only wants to stream. Thanks.

Unfortunately no I didn't do any speedtests. Tried a few servers, and noticed they were slower than the Windscribe, VPNSecure, SlickVPN, and PIA servers. I tend to connect to servers located in the western states.

Thanks for the reply.

I have tested Keepsolid and Windscribe running OpenVPN Client on my router and they both top out around 80 down and 18 up. I'm connected to Keepsolid's server for USA streaming and Windscibe's New Jersey Situation server.

FastestVPN is cheap which is why my friend was considering it.

I wonder if it's possible to select specific servers to run speed tests?

For Windscribe, I tested a few servers from the us-east list and found that New York Gotham was the quickest for me so that's the server I address use in my router. USA Netflix and USA Prime work. I also found that some movies are only HD on Canada Prime and UHD on USA Prime. For example, Midsommar.

I have been with them for three months (signed up for the past lifetime offer)

Everything works fine. Their customer support is VERY good 0 - they have readily helped me with a number of items and very responsive.. I get speeds around 15 Mbps form most of their servers. Never more than 20.
I apologize for offending sensitivities of alt right, alt left, or anyone in the middle, for humor or perspectives, for my maturity and occasional errors. I apologize for misunderstandings on gender, religion, politics, race or deals.

Are you running this on a router or a computer? 20 seems kind of low to me.

I would expect the speed to be better on a computer or router that supports hardware encryption. Thanks.

FYI - I signed up for FastestVPN lifetime yesterday and it works fine so far. One thing I did notice is I got a non spam mail with deceptive links from service PayPal saying there was an unauthorized login in Australia. The links are non official PayPal. I paid with PayPal. So beware that this company may be trying to sell PayPal emails to phish for your PayPal account password.

I was going to give it a shot, but when I went to pay, I switched to CAD$ and it's $30 CAD?
