FDA authorized antigen test to USA

Hi! We are going to Florida next week and I just realized that maybe the tests we can get here (Shoppers, walmart, pharmacy, costco) could be a problem if it not authorized by the FDA.

Any experiences with that situation?

How to know what test they use?

Same thing to come back. The test need to be authorized by the FDA or Health Canada if used in USA?

Maybe I’m over thinking…

You are over thinking it. I have yet to hear anyone mention this before. As long as it the correct test and a trust worthy clinic ( Shoppers, walmart, etc. ) then you will be fine.

CDC rules allow a test to be used for entry to the United States if it's either FDA authorized or authorized in the jurisdiction where the test is administered.

Health Canada rules allow a test to be used for entry to Canada if it's either Health Canada authorized or authorized in the jurisdiction where the test is purchased.

So no issue on either front.
