Fibre home internet deals

I'm about to move into a new house and I'm looking for deals on fibre home internet. Currently I use Bell Fibe 150 at $49.99/mo which is an ok deal, but I called Bell and they told me the price for my new location is $99.99 for the same speed, which is a joke. I saw a $49.99/mo for gigabit fibre promo code floating around but apparently it's "not valid" for my address. Anyone know of any deals? Feel free to PM if you're from sales.

Requirements: $50 or less for 100-150mb fibre. Location is Aurora, Ontario. It seems most if not all deals are for condos in downtown/midtown due to the competition. For this location are we simply screwed and have to put up with highway robbery prices?

Hey! We still don't have much of a presence on RFD, but we're slowly starting to join the conversation.

There's a couple threads in which other users seem to enjoy our services, but there still isn't a striking majority of people who know us. Understandable, considering we launched in Ontario this summer (following two successful years in Quebec).

Hope you find what you need with us :)

Are your services only for condos? I live in a detached house.

Actually, we use the Rogers infrastructure! That means condos, houses, apartments, etc.

If you want to check availability at your specific address, we have an address validation module right here! Don't worry, there's no commitment of any kind.

Some folks are reporting success with Fido at 50% off for new customers.

Fido is owned by Rogers. They offer coax service over Rogers lines.
75/10 for $37.50 or 150/15 for $42.50. 12 months, month-to-month, no contract.

Others are seeing Virgin 100/10 for as low as $45/month (if you're an existing customer).

Virgin is owned by Bell. They offer FTTN or FTTH over Bell infrastructure. 12 months, month-to-month, no contract.

Seems that thread is from half a year ago. I called two different Virgin reps, and the lowest they were able to offer is $55/mo for 100/10.

Was anyone able to get 100-10 for $45 recently? I'm actually an existing Virgin customer at another property, while my wife is an ex-Virgin customer.

Edit: called Virgin to see if they have any win-back offers since Rogers is offering me a win-back package, they literally hung up the phone right in the middle of my sentence. LOL. Not only did they not have any offers whatsoever, guess they're more interested in being an asshole to ex-customers.

As an existing customer, my wife was just last week offered a $35 bill credit on their 100/10 plan, which makes it $45/month.

Do you know if she just called the number on the website, and said she's an existing customer? I tried that with 2 reps and they still refuse to offer any discount. Or maybe it has to do with the location? I guess it's easier to get discounts in the downtown area or condos. I'm in Aurora.

She received an email, a text, a mail-out, and the discount shows up in her online account.

Hi, I've been a Telus customer for over 15 years. Recently, the internet, home phone, and tv services expired with Telus and looking for a deal with Shaw. Any suggestions or reach outs?
