I will be there tomorrow at UofT, but I think I prefer paying the extra $150 for Koodo service. If they have free tablet and cheap data add on like previous years I would jump, but at $150 delta I prefer paying Koodo that extra.

so $100 each?RookieCookie wrote: ↑ Just called a local Fido store in Wpg. They gave me the following instead:
$50 for 9GB first line
$45 for 11GB second line
$200 credit total for both lines combined.
Waived activation fees for both (so called "$80" credit)
Plus both SIM cards for free (so called "$20" credit)
So in the end that's how he claims there's a $150 credit per line. Because $40 of it is from activation fee and $10 from the SIM card.
Also have to go in store to show ID for this deal.

Ya $100 each. Also note that these credits don't get applied immediately. They come 2-3 bill cycles afterwards.Thatdealguy wrote: ↑ so $100 each?

You are the dating expert.Thatdealguy wrote: ↑ Of course.
Good deals = always new customers (Just started dating. You treat him/her like a king/queen because you want him/her to choose you instead of other people.)
Charge you extra = old customers (You won the battle. dated for a long time and now you treat them like a normal person.)
Sweet deals = trying to win you back (he/she wants to break up with you. You don't want to so you try everything you can to win him/her back. Please, please don't go. come back to me please. I'm begging you)

Hey! Toronto, PM me, and I got it because I was moving all three lines I had and activating them with Fido. I didn't mention the Uni promo.sargegreen wrote: ↑ Hi redflag0,
Which city are you in? From which store? How did you get the $600 credit? Did you ask them about the university student offer?
I have 5 lines in my family that I want to port over if that's the case.
Thanks.

You may be able to keep the additional 2GB by doing so but will definitely loose $5 discount for multiple line as soon as you end up with only one line.vancityguy0 wrote: ↑ Has anyone been able to successfully get the $45/11GB promo on a single line account by using the port-out>port-in method?
As in:
1) Add a second line to your existing account at the $45/11GB rate.
2) Port the old number out to another carrier.
3) Port the old number back to your new line.
