[Fido] $30 - 6GB YMMV

Retailer:: Fido

Hey guys, I was able to get this amazing deal from Fido today.

All the amounts are before taxes:
Phone plan: $30/month for 6GB (24 months)
Google Pixel 4 XL financing: ($30/month for 24 months)
Also got a $200 bill credit.

With taxes and the extra tax from the financing plan, I would pay roughly $73/month.

Just FYI, I have three other lines on my accounts (1 data plan and 2 talk&text plans)
I am also from QC.

Nope, I renewed my old subsidized plan. I do however have 3 other lines on my account (1 data plan and 2 text and talk plans)

Well I had called Koodo initially to transfer only my line. They told me that the best promotion they could offer me was the $35 GB plan but with 4GB total and a $5 discount for 24 months.
I then called Fido to match Koodo and they offered me this deal.

Yes. Also, I did mention that I was going to transfer from Fido. No idea if that helped.

How do h call koodoo?
Ive tried numerous times thru the automated app.. once they call i say hello and it hangs up on me..
They done that numerous times..

Got the same thing. They give a 2G+2G for 35$.
Paid 280$ for a S20+ with 34$/month finance.
250$ welcome credit.

So the plan is basically $35 for 2GB but with bonus data you pay $30 for 6GB for 2 years? Right $5 discount and 2GBd data for adding a new line I think

Sort of. You are correct that it equals to $30 for 6GB. I do not think it was for adding a new line because I was already a customer with Fido. I just told them about my offer at Koodo and how I would switch over.

But per your screenshot, you’re paying $73 for 6GB for 24 months and after the 24 months you get switched to 2GB for $35 because your bonus GB expires.

Sounds like a terrible deal to me.
