[Fido] 3GB Bonus for 2yrs added to $60/10gb(christmas plan) & $45/2gb plans [current/new customer]

Called in to get a new line added to my current account, they offered me a BYOD plan of $45/2gb+3gb/Unlimited Canada wide calling/text. (3gb bonus for 2years.)

Also asked if I was able to get the bonus on my existing plan of $60/10gb Christmas pulse plan, the agent was able to do that. So now my plan is $60/10gb + 3gb (3gb bonus for 2years) . I also asked her to apply the above $45/5gb plan to my existing line($60/13gb) from next cycle, which is still far off if I decide to cut down on my usage. I now have to decide between keeping the $60/13gb pulse plan or change to $45/5gb for my current line.

YMMV? Or do you need to add a new line?

She was able to add the bonus to my existing line as well. So i guess you don't need to add a new line to get it.

They've also called me recently and offered the $45 deal(incl. Free 6 month Spotify) . I declined because I'm with the old PM deal but this is still good.

When I phoned in to get that $40 5gb last week, after I presented them with that plan code (plan was unavailable to me) I was instead offered $45 4gb pulse plan +3gb bonus (1year) for both my lines. I’m in BC. Both lines I’ve had for a few years on pulse plans. I haven’t been elligible for any new bonus 1 year data for over a year now. I have no codes for these plans.

Plan Code- Not right now. Maybe once the new line gets activated.

I can already see 13gb on my current plan so i believe its not only for hardware upgrade plan. I opted for no upgrade or contract.

For new customers, you should be able to port in from another company to the Fido BYOP plan of $45 for 4GB. I did that last week (Ontario)

Where can I find this plan? I just called Fido and was told no such plan exists.

I got it done at a Fido kiosk at the mall. I’m not sure if it matters which carrier you’re coming from but I was with Virgin. Someone else on here called and confirmed it on another thread too.

As mentioned in the description, I was able to get the $45/2+3gb plan. Rosh93 also got $45/4gb plan from the fido kiosk. Seems a good plan.
