I signed up this at Ottawa Barrhaven with Quebec plan, you have to pay $20 for Costco, then get $75 Costco Gift Card, and some free wireless earphone& USB-C car charger. The agent first told me the $35 activation fee can be credited on the second month, but after he called, he can’t do that, I’m ok with that. I got a free Samsung Tab A 8. That’s it, it’s easy. Call&Text Both are blocked by Fido , tested.
BTW, most Fido location you need to have a voice plan. I do have a voice plan.
LTE speed I tested on my iPhone 7p for 60mbps, not bad.
It looks like I got a credit $35 +QST=$40.20, at first, I thought what the hell it is, Costco agent said it maybe credit $35 to me is true.
