It's essentially the 10GB $50 plan with $10off for 24 months on BYOD.

I called a Fido store in Calgary and they said they weren't aware of such a promotion happening in AB. Shame.

If your in ottawa, the wireless wave in Rideau has 20gb for $55 or 10gb for 45$ if you are a chatr customer

I signed up for this last week at Agincourt Mall in Scarborough.

The $40 is for 2 years, then it goes up to $50 per month.

I was getting 10gb for $60 from Koodo so to save $20 per month for the next 2 years is nice ($480 savings).

I'm sure between now and then I'll end up finding a better offer somewhere else.

Have you tried this method before? Will Fido say that you have had an existing account with them before, and thus not a “new activation”? How long do we have to wait until you sign back up with Fido? Do we have to wait a month?

I was guaranteed the rate for 24 months and the rest of the info was confirmed at First Markham Place Fido and signed up today. Ty OP, looking forward to cancelling later during the year to take advantage of some win back promos.

However line up was very very long...some ppl took over 1 hr with agent. We were in line for over 1 hr...budget time if the location has a lot of foot traffic
