If you go to a Fido store, they usually offer you some kind of credits but not as good as the GC amount.

Confirmed. They wouldn’t do it over the phone when I called Fido this morning but I was told at the mobile shop that they could match but you had to get a phone in order for them to do it. Also came with 300k PC points ($300) dependant on the phone you pick

just as a FYI Koodo has the option of rollover data, not that many would need to roll over 50gb of data but it is a nice option though

How does the GC work? Do we get giftcards from Walmart if we go in and get the plan? Where does TMS, BB, Costco come in?

Does stackable with Walmart, etc mean we can go to those stores and activate the Fido plans and get those stores in-store GC?

Great, so I don't feel bad about canceling my fido order and porting to koodo.

If fido had US LD would be hot. I would have been able to keep my second line 5 dollar discount, plus had US LD and fido has US texting from Canada by default.

Friggin Canadian carriers. The US carriers have moved past this nonsense. It's all NA wide now down there.
