Edit - actually I don't see the $20 discount on my promo. Just see the 8gb for $45 or 10 for $50. Might be because you are in qc and I am in bc.

I also had no clue what the second post was about. I am guessing this is added bonus for QC since their normal plan is $50/10GB. For the rest of Canada, it's just 5GB bonus.

Was on a 4+2GB / $50 plan so I jumped on this. Couldn't apply it myself, but I called in and they were able to apply it to my account.

What is the cheaper promo? I want a pixel 4a 5G

Fido is starting to treat their long time customers like trash. They lure you in with these plans then change it without telling you. Then you have to waste your time calling in to be told they can't do anything for a customer of 20+ years.

Thank you OP, it's a good deal for the Pixel 5. Phone is 25$ a month (it was 30 a few days ago), plus I got 5gb for 25$ a month for 10 months and 45$ after and a 100$ account credit and they waived the 45$ activation fee. That's not bad at all!

Wow ... I just purchased Pixel 4A 5G a couple of days ago (same deal) and it was $28 a month versus Pixel 5 $33 I think, I was interested on the 4A 5G due to bigger screen so not thinking of trading but I wish they discounted 4A 5G ( BTW it doesn't appear on their site as new anymore?? only refurbished)

Yes the price of the 5 dropped like a day or 2 ago. I wanted the 4a 5g for the screen too but I wasn't ready to lose ip68 and wireless charging for .2" and the 90mhz refresh rate is a nice feature for browsing.

It seems like they are clearing ou the 4a 5g. I was about to buy one from Fizz a few weeks back, it was 480$ full price outright, but they aren't available anymore. Same thing with Fido and Rogers, they aren't listed anymore.

I'm at 17gb/$60 with Koodo, considering jumping on the 8gb/$45 as I dont need as much data anymore. Stupid idea?

I'm on the fence as well. Currently have 14gb for $50 with Koodo.

With Fido you get extra 5 hours of data per month which they marketed as having 5 more GBs. So for essentially 13gb for $45.
Fido also has Fido xtras which has some deals/perks from time to time.
Only downside I could think of is the inevitable raising of the price after a year or so. (And the recent outage doesn't help)
My parents have been able to get more data and more credits by calling in.

If you port out from Koodo maybe you'll get a callback offer!

I don't see this 10 months thing in BC. All I see are 8GB plan for $45 and 10GB for $50 with no mention of a time limit on the discount.

just logged into my account, my phones are both eligible for $50 for 20gb with no time limit. I am in BC.
