[Fido] $45/month for 6GB "loyalty plan". YMMV

I don't know how much of a "loyalty" this is but I went down from their old $55/4GB to this that they called and offered today.

I don't know from which province you're from but in Quebec, I got $45 for like 15GB and that's not even a good deal by RFD standards. If anyone knows a good deal for more GB or less price in QC lmk.

Usually don't upvote meh deals but I gave you one here.. Best everyone share what the carriers are offering them, and hey, you got a better deal than you had in the past.

I was with Telus on a 1GB, Unlimited Ntl deal for $45 for a long time.. old plan that once was a good loyalty plan (when they offered them). Now Telus doesn't offer $hite for loyalty and their only acceptable deals are multi-line required.

Freedom isn't offered in my Territory (tried that deal (port) and failed), so no cigar there. Best I got was $60 for 15 gigs.

It seems like Fido and Koodo are the only ones now offering any kind of loyalty discount. I almost like your deal better than mine cause i don't use a lot of data.
Maybe these guys could teach you how to get more though. Without multiline on Telus I can't get crap, despite 22 yrs of'loyalty'..

I gave you a upvote cause you’re just sharing what you got and hoping it is good for someone.

I do want to say you should fight with Fido or check other providers, cause there are better deals, but it does depend on location.

Giving an upvote for trying. Might not be the best deal but like someone said above 45/25gbs is what they actually call a loyalty offer. Keep it up Smiling Face With Smiling Eyes

There are several reasons I downvoted this deal.

1- It's not a deal.
2- Fido's service not as good as Bell companies such as Koodo, Virgin.
3- Whoever call this a loyalty plan, I bet he was living in North Korea.
4- You can get this from many providers.

Previously I had a similar deal, 4 GB + 2 additional GB for 45$ with tax. I saw that Fizz was offering 10 GB for 40$ (now it's showing up as 44$). I called the fido loyalty department and asked them if they can match fizz, if not, what's the process of transferring my number to Fizz (obviously I know how to do it, but that was just a polite way of me telling them to give me or am gone - a polite way of asking always works with customer service). They complied and gave me 11 GB for 40+tax/month.

Try it out of you're getting anything less than 10-11GB for 45$. It might be very YMMV but does not hurt to try.

use this link as a reference when you deal with the loyalty department

Those companies only rely on ripping people off. If 50% pay 300% over then it compensates for the rest who might get a fair price
