[Fido] $450ish(tax incl.) Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10e (128GB, SD855) with 2 yrs contract

Saw this today, S10 is most definitely better than S10 Lite in every way, S10e is kinda on par with S10Lite

Looks like it says 19.99 a month AFTER bill credit?

Can you buy it outright without a Fido plan?

Looks like you can't, full price is hilarious

Seems a warm deal unless you can get the ZTE AXON 10 Pro deal from B&H somehow today.

Comparison between A71, S10e, and, S10 Lite
Depends what you want, battery life is pretty terrible and the screen size is very different from the S10 lite. I think it's more important to decide what size of phone you want first then select the appropriate deal.

Thx for sharing deal, too bad with it being a contract deal it's more limiting.

YMMV on the $100 bill credit? I don't see it.

I just noticed the $100 online activation credit is QC only, my apology
But, you can take advantage of the trade-in $100 promotion (buy a used iphone 4 on kijiji, trade-in for $100 credit)

yeah ditto about the battery life. the size personally is perfect for me, I don't like how phones are trending towards these phablet sizes these days but yeah.

According to gsmarena, it has an endurance rating of 83hrs which is better than the regular s10. Why is this a bad deal?

Apparently S10 Lite is way better than 10e.

Samsung needs to stop naming their devices like this, its so confusing... And Lite just sounds terrible, sounds like there's a ton missing from the phone.

Also they make a USB thumb drive called the Fit Plus... Who comes up with these names??

I have the S10 lite from B&H, very happy with it, Samsung Pay is a bit odd since it s the UAE version but I still can enroll my CCs (no debit though).

I'm on fido and have been looking to change my phone and when I add any of the models to the cart, I get a price above what is listed on the site. I get some odd rebate and a high monthly charge for the phone and it ends up being higher than the price posted and this is for every phone I tried.

So OP, not sure if your calculations are based on the website posted numbers or the actual in-cart number, if it's the former than it may be misleading.

I believe this is partly because they charge you tax on the regular monthly amount instead of on the discounted monthly amount, at least that's what I know from my mom who works for fido customer service..

Because the contract, also title is misleading. The phone is $450 ONLY if you sign up for a plan with Fido. If you're paying the same or are with Fido already, then it's OK. In my case, I would pay $15/month more for the 6GB plan if I switch from my current plan ($40/6GB Lucky->Virgin migration), that's an extra $406.80 in ON, making the phone over $850. Still better than "full price", but Samsung sells it direct for $789.99 ($892.69 w/ ON tax) on their website. So a savings of $40 in exchange for being tied to Fido for 2 years is a bad deal.

Thanks. I thought it was something like that because the tax added at the end is too low but the final number seemed too high (was $3 on $70). Also thought it might be those 911 fees. Kind of unusual. Likely unavoidable but still misleading. I'll look again though.

I am using this phone since last one year with no issues, I prefer the small size factor over big screen, used multiple one plus devices in past. I got another one for my wife last weekend from Walmart with $200 gift card and $22 (including tax) tab for 2 years. So net I will pay 528 - 200 + 40(fido charges, will try to get this waived) = 368 for the phone. I am on Fido 4gb $50 plan.
