Point out to them that...
1. The Details for the Data Only Plan-4GB includes "Unlimited Incoming Text" [quoted from the Fido Android app.]
2. Many banks and others now require 2FA via texts in order to login successfully. By blocking incoming texts they effectively block Data Only Plan users from using their tablets to login to those sites.
Best to do this via Chat so that there's a written record of what you've requested and how they responded.
Maybe if enough of us disgruntled customers do this they'll reopen free incoming texts as advertised rather than just delete that feature from this plan.
I dunno, is this something we could take up with CCTS? Free incoming text is part of the Data Only Plan-4GB offer we accepted so Fido should be forced to honor it.
