Is this a Manitoba only deal? I don't see it for Ontario.

Sounds like it might be a local deal since it doesn't appear on the QC Fido website...

This would be a nice change from my whale of a $70 plan.

$55 unlimited (including capped-data) is the common phone plan in Mantioba ($100+ here in Ontario for an equivalent plan on major carrier, save for Wind, etc...)

Why do different provinces have different price plans? It just makes no sense for a wireless company to be doing that. All that is different is the sales tax and all this accomplishes is get other provincial customers pissed off about the price variance.

a) There is a non robellus regional operator that they are trying to complete against (sasktel)
b) The coverage isn't the same. Rogers/fido sk coverage sucks big time. It's like wind in the gta . There are many areas with no coverage and a lot of the remaining coverage is only 2g vs sasktel with has a lot of 4g and lte coverage

Would sign a contract so fast if this was available in the GTA.
I love Wind for the price but the coverage is limited and the and speed is horrid at times.

Oh there are ways to get it. I know quite a few people in BC and Ontario with this plan now.
