This was your plan and they just upgraded it to 20gb? Kinda confused from the pic

I got a different text message from Fido: "an exclusive deal you won't want to miss___ 10 GB for $ 50/month... ."
I use less than 2 GB per month historically, that could be why I am offered an "exclusive" deal with less data than what you were offered.

Dont do it lol. Currently, many providers are offering $45 for 25gb.

But can you just walk in and get $45/25GB? Those plans are all winback with specific criteria or just by chance.
If better deals come up for BF, just change plans or port. Just don't sign a contract right now.

Lots of Fido customers get "offers" for more GB for higher cost. If you're paying $50, you get offers for $60/65. If you're paying $60, you get offers for $70/75.
It's all about trying to increase ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), which is a key metric for the stock.
And with so many working/schooling from home, usage is way down, so offering a lot of GB does not have a real cost (at present).
Restricted travel is also impacting all carriers' lucrative roaming revenue.
Like others have said, unless you really need that much data, you're better off not to bite. It's always easy to get more data if you want to spend a little bit more. It's hard to reduce your monthly bill with the same carrier.

I pay 50 for 15 gigs... i barely get to the 15 I can't see myself getting this.

I'm currently on a 11GB 500min plan for $49+taxes
My wife's line is on a 4GB 500min plan for $33.75+taxes
No intention to change plans and pay out more money since always on WiFi at home now.

Seems like Fido is trying hard this time. I never get these offers since I'm locked in a 2year agreement. But this time I got offer for 20GB/65$.
Right now I pay 60/2GB - 10$ discount for 18 months.
