60$/30gb 65$/35gb 70$/40 95$/50 existing customers YMMV

if you want to get this offers just lower your monthly to lowest tier like $40 for whatever data they offer you and wait a month and you will keep getting this promos every month just to upgrade you on higher tier.

I'm stuck at $50 for 10gb and i keep getting offer only above that nothing like $45- $50 for 15-20gb, They will never offer you any extra data on existing plan only higher tier.

Signed up for $70 for 40gb. Seems like a good deal.

I have been a customer for 5 months. I have a $50 / 11gb (- $10 for 10m,- $5 for 24m of discounts.. So it ends up as $35 for 10m,then $45 for the rest of 14m)

I got offered $45 / 15gb. My usage got to 8g last month. Has anyone accepted an offer? Do you lose your sign up discounts?

Useless offers.

I called FIDO a week ago. They said the discounts are given as follows to "loyal customers":

if a plan is $50 or less ... only $5 discount (6 months only)
if a plan is $55 to $70 ... only $10 discount (12 months only)

I used to have:
- Line 1: BYOP (500 Canadawide minutes) w 1GB + 1 GB plus 2GB BONUS at $45 minus 25% = $33.75
- Line 2: BYOP (500 Canadawide minutes) w 2GB + 2 GB plus 2GB BONUS + 5GB 24 mth BONUS at $55

The agent said can change plans ... pay more and get more data ...

I said ... the phones are at home 95% of the time .. you can see that the usage is more than sufficient as we have UNLIMITED INTERNET at home.

So he offered the smaller line without data at a cheaper price ... what???? ... how can you go out shopping for groceries without data?? DUH!

So now I have:
- Line 1: same BYOP (500 Canadawide minutes) w 1GB + 1 GB plus 2GB BONUS at $45 minus $5 (6 months) = $45

Just checked the app:

Line 1 - RECOMMENDED: $50 - 20GB (are you crazy????? who the hell needs 20GB when 95% of the time you are home with unlimited wifi????)
Line 2 - RECOMMENDED: $65 - 35GB (absolutely nuts! who the hell wants to pay more for something that they don't need????)

you will lose all the discount after you accept the loyalty plan

Hi are you sure it takes only 1 month? I have an offer on my account, but I want the same offer on an existing number with Koodo I intend to port to Fido. They wont apply the same deal to a new number.
Should I port in at a lower monthly fee and then accept a promo with higher data? I dont want to wait more than a month to move to bigger data plan.
I want the $40/10Gb plan. lower plan in $35/4Gb (I can survive for a month or so).

I never got any of these kinds of offer from Fido, despite being with Fido for all most 9 years. Every time I have to contact with customer service to ask if I can get any offer. Maybe it’s because I never signed any contract with them before.

I noticed they offered 5gb extra for me just now when logging into fido.ca vs the app which gives me expensive higher tier options.

Nothing is for sure, but in my case i was on 50/10gb for a long time and i would try every week or so and could never get any extra GB unless i move up on more expensive tier $60/70 etc. so i just took $45/10gb they offered me and not even 3 weeks later i got offered $50/20gb so i took it.

System will never offer you more Gb on the plan you already paying they will usually double your GB just so they can extract more money from you unfortunately.

Rogers is way behind...

Same here. Have the same $50/15gb Messaged them a while ago that Virgin offered me a cheaper plan ( which is kind of true with less data) , they would not even budge.
A couple of days ago, I could only use 1 of the 5 hours of data. After that, it kept giving me an error message.

I have two lines.

One is $60 for 15 gb and theyre offering $65 for 30 gb
Other is $35 for 2 gb and theyre offering $15 gb for 15 gb

I asked if they can just give me the second offer and the first account and that was a no lmao

Just came in to say

F em, legit sitting on their A doing nothing and charging more. Not going to change until people realize that. Can get the same data in more technologically advanced cities around the world for a fraction of the price

Just logged in to check & showing the 30GB for $60 for me here in Ontario, currently have 9GB BYOP for $50. I don't need more data, I'd be happy if I can find 9/10GB for less, if the deal is good enough i'd be willing to get a cheap/cert preowned phone on a 2 year term, such as the Certified Pre-Owned LG Velvet 5G for $3.99/month after bill credit to get a upgrade from my LG G6.

Let's say you're on an older BYOD plan with any of the wireless providers, e.g., $50/1GB. The current $50 BYOD plan is 10GB data. Couldn't you sign up for a 2-year agreement with a new phone (assuming you were going to buy a new phone anyways and hopefully it's on promo so you're not paying full price) and 10GB data? Then after those 2 years you go back to the BYOD plan but have 10GB instead of your original whatever 1GB?

they still offer me the usually 40GB at $70.

I wish it's the other way around lol.

The only deals I get from Koodo are if I add a line to my account. Unless I call in and say competitor x is offering me this (less expensive plan with more data) i really dont get anything.
