[Fido] $80 Unlimited Canada Wide and 10GB Data YMMV

Hello RFD'ers!

Since my 2 year agreement was up for renewal I decided to call Fido and see what was available for me. And without signing any agreement or upgrading my handset I was offered a plan for $80 Unlimited Canada Wide and International Texting and 10GB Data. My previous agreement was $75 for 200 Daytime Unilmited Even W/E and 6GB of Data. For $5 more it was a no brainer. This loyalty plan from what i understood was only available for people with their older plans (I've been with fido for 10 years) so YMMV. I have attached a photo of what my plan is compared to what is available on their website. Anyway happy deal hunting!

Looking at OP screen shot, it's a +15 plan, so he should get a phone if he choose to sign a contract.

But then he/she'll be paying $95/month?

OP, is this a Share-Everything Plan, so you can add another phone line, or tablet to share the data?

This a device plan. Not BYOD. I just haven't chosen to upgrade my phone yet.

Good question. I'm not sure. I don't have any other plans with FIDO.

I was offered the same plan
I also got the same "upgrade" offer for my wife's 6GB plan when I called Fido to ask about the 1GB bonus for myself. At the end I got 2GB extra for my BYOD plan but declined the 10GB offer.

Going to make the call to 611 now and see what's available. I'm on a $45 Loyalty plan w/ $30/6 GB add-on. Switching to this makes sense for the additional 4 GB and may actually cause me to stay with them when my contracts up in future too.

I have a 6GB Superplan with Rogers for $70, and I would jump if they would offered it to me, if this is a Share-Everything plan.

I just called in, up for renewal in a few weeks. Been with Fido fo 10+ years.

Inquired about iphone 7/7+ - for me to get the max subsidy the only plan they have tied to the iphone 7/7+ upgrade is the max 35 plan

$100 for $10GB - roam like home included. All other stuff same as OP's post.
