Just jumped on a chat with a rep on Fido's website and asked about the $25/ 20GB deal they offer. The rep offered that right away and added additional $5 off on my account as I have a tablet line with them. Also waved $50 activation fees.

Yes, it's only for 15 month and I am switching from PM after 4 years, but it seems like FINALLY Canada is catching up with the rest of the world when it comes to data plans. I believe I will be able to renew it next year if I have to.

Online Chat Rep gave me 30gb/30$ and subsequent line for 30gb/25$

Went by Fido at Scarborough Town Center, very long line up but was able to sneak a question in to one of the staff about this offer. They said lowest was $30 offer , with $25 for 2nd line .

There was another thread like this from BC and it was not confirmable. I presume this is the same or someone just trolling to make people go through hoops. No details and validations like copy of text chat, contract, etc...

That was earlier in the day and ultimately got locked because I don't think anyone was able to get it, just $30. Hope OP has something to show.

I also managed to get the deal through the Fido chat (Qc).
45$-20$ (24 months credit)-> 25$
45$-20$-5$ (24 months credit & 2nd line credit)-> 20$
Long wait time and had to ask several time (Worth it if I can get the plan though), but the rep ended up offering it.
Might be YMMV or location specific as several other people in another thread managed to get the plan with a 100$ credit at bestbuy in Qc also. Did not get the 100$, but I suppose I didnt have to go out and wait... (Thread)

Edit: My plan is 15gb, not the 20gb one though.

Great news. Koodo just dropped their rate to $30 for 20GB for first line, $25 for additional lines about half an hour ago for 24 months. This was in Edmonton.

I was able to get the $25 for 20GB earlier for me and a second line for $20 for another 20GB. IT wasn't fake, but you actually had to make an effort to call and speak with someone. Many on here want plans gifted to them. Just like society...free handouts with no effort.

Nice to see cell providers getting more competitive with rates.

Was this QC? So far, we're only seeing people in QC get the $25/first line, $20/second line. Want to know if it's worth calling in from outside of QC
