Yes, Ontario. Currently, I have FIDO's old 3gb data only sim.
I logged in and saw those plans I listed.
I called in yesterday and was also offered $40 / 6gb / Unlimited talk + text +1000 LD mins (as pert the rep, LD mins are not available with online plan)

The promo got a bit better this morning for me. Adding a new line in QC gives me 5GB extra on the 35$ plan:

Will deals get even better by cyber monday?!

So here's the deal I ended-up getting.

I was looking for an S10 - I know it is an older model, but 5G isn't built out yet and it has everything I need (3.5mm, wireless charging, good battery, lots of bands, not a huge screen). Pixel 5 would have been my next choice, but the specials were better for the S10.

FIDO 4GB Plan: $45 - $10 for 24 months = $35/m
S10 includes Bluetooth AKG earphones: $20/m for 24 months - $50 account credit = $17.92/m
Received GC: $350 = -$14.58/m over 24 months
Activation fee waived
Added 1000 minutes long distance

I tried chat this morning to see if I can add the extra 3GB to my plan - there is a mention of this deal on my "internet only" account before I ported, so it's not for existing 'mobile' accounts. I had a hard time with this and the CSR was having none of it for my ported number. In all fairness, if I truly wanted to add another line, the 3GB would show-up for a new line. I then tried to get the 4GB Samsung Tablet A8.4, which I got for free!

Final deal: Samsung S10 with AKG earplugs + Samsung A8.4, 4GB Phone Plan + 4GB Tablet Plan, 1000 mins LD, $38.34/m for 24 months (plus $7.15 in taxes on $55)

Yeah, it's a cheap phone. I have a g6, g7 play as well. But what makes this a good deal is the $100 bill credit when I sign on for 2 yr contract at $24 cost to me. It's net $76 credit plus the free phone. Also got the tablet and 4gb data plan at no extra cost.

Hello all, I have got a S10 from Fido through TMS with 300k pc points by end September during their previous promotions. Plan cost was $39 (6GB) + 20$ tab. I haven’t yet opened the S10. Is there any possibility for me to return S10 and get S20 using the current promo. Would appreciate to have all your views and suggestions. Thanks in advance

You can always cancel and move to something better as there is no contract and I'd say service is better than freedom or zoomer, based on what I've heard.

It’s 2 year contract. If I break, I have to pay about 1200$ for the phone

My Koodo plan was:

$45/month
4 GB + $0 4 GB = 8 GB
Nationwide talk/text
1000 LD minutes

I called them and they refused to give me anything outside of a $100 bill credit to apply on tab mid.

I then called Fido and got the following:

$45/ month
4 GB + $0 3 GB = 7 GB
Nationwide Talk/Text
1000 LD minutes
$145 Bill credit after 2-3 months ($100 Bill credit + $45 is for waiving the activation fee)
-$10 /month bill credit for 24 months
Google PIxel 5 at $20 a month

Summary: $35/month + $20/month for Pixel 5 = $55 + Tax.

Savings = +$240 over the next 2 years over my plan with koodo. I think its a good time to change.

Question: If i were to return the phone as soon as I get it, would I keep the same plan? The reason why I am asking, is that if I secure the plan now - I could conceivably return the phone for a full refund and then wait until boxing day promotions to take advantage of retail partner promotions (like additional gift card bonus). Anybody know if thats doable?

I'm doing the same deal but instead of $1/mth for the Moto G, it's $5/mth for the Pixel 3a or $10/mth for the Pixel 4a (4G) so I'm taking the 4a. They all get $100 credit.

Anyone successfully able to get the $10 discount + $5 add a line discount making the plan $30
I'm hearing it's YMMV. Let me know if it was in store or by calling

On the online live chat earlier today, we were quoted $35 for 4GB + 3GB bonus for additional lines, with the explanation that the added lines get a $5 promo discount + $5 add a line discount.

Is the $100 bill credit only for device activations? If you get just the plan and no phone, can you still get the $100 bill credit? (I remember a few months ago there were bill credits for BYOP plans, so was wondering if this is the case this time around too)

TIA

quick question, how can you guys proceed the $45 with $10 credit offer? The agent told me I can order the phone online. So does it mean the agent will add a new line for me first? or I can add a new line first online, then order a new phone on this new line?

If you go to TMS or Walmart, they will give it to you plus a $300 Walmart gift card or 300 PC points. Plus you can get a referral $50 credit.

I was able to get the 10$ off promo monthly + 2GB (NOT 3gb additional) with an existing BYOD line. Currently paying $45 for 4GB with $5 off from August 2020 discount for 24 months, so asked a rep via chat and got the detail of $10 off for 12months and 6GB. So I didn't need to cancel and then reactivated a new line for the deal. After the black Friday discount, my current bill is $35 for 6GB. I told the rep that freedom was doing a promo for $35 6GB. Hope that helps!
