Why I never offered this kind of deals for me like forever. Always provide a crappy deals. 20gb for $55 and I am paying $30 for 6gb now

Be careful - I did this and they removed my $10 a month credit for “changing my plan”. Lots of pushback after I did chat to add my discount back and calling was over 3hours.

I hate them,
I had a 7,92$/m promo for a iPhone 12 mini 128.
I ordered it, all went fine.

No news since then (1 week), so I'm on the chat and they telling me the order didn't go through because my plan is not compatible with the offer.
1- They specifically gave me this offer on my account.
2- During the buying process there was no message or warning telling me I need to switch offer.

The guy is telling me is need to switch plan, +1$, all good, go for it.

And now he is telling me the phone is now like 30 $ instead of 8$. WHAT THE F.
I'm arguing right now over chat because I'm not responsible for this.

It's been 30 min now... let's see how they can handle this. (I'm still waiting...)


EDIT : Chat support can't help me. Told me to go in store.
Goddamn it.

That's Rogers part of the system and how it works and it's hella annoying. I have had so many deals messed up because a rep touched my account. Going into a package or adding stuff as simple as a converter sometimes throws the whole thing over a cliff.

I would have been really surprised if they had offered me additional 5gb, I’m already on $45/month plan and getting 25gb data.

Side note: There are 4 lines on my account, but only my number has this offer. I asked the rep at Fido why am I only getting so much data at cheap rate and not others on this account. He said “we see data usage on this line and not on other lines in the account, hence we offered bonus data”

I have been paying $55 for 10Gb plan. Switched to $50 for 12Gb plan a few minutes ago, Fido automatically added bonus 5Gb. So, I am paying $50 for 17Gb now. Nice Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Talked to supervisor. He did gave me 10$ off, but for a refurbished. And after 24 months it still cost me 195$ more because of their mistake. I guess I'll wait for boxing day and quit Fido.

Same here. Just made the switch to the $50/12GB plan. How long did it take to see the extra GB?
