CPO Samsung A50 on a Mini plan looks like a pretty good deal.

Comparison for a plan with 2 GB data:

Fido ($200 bill credit, Mini plan):
24 months x $45/month = $1080 + HST - $200 bill credit = $1020

Walmart ($250 gc, Small plan):
24 months x $55/month = $1325 + HST - $250 gift card = $1247

Costco ($325 gc, Small plan, $19.99 up front):
$19.99 + 24 months x $55/month = $1345 + HST - $325 gift card = $1195

Most people won't notice any difference between brand new and certified pre-owned.

Yesterday I got S9, new and not CPO, for $35 per month, no data, unlimited calling to Canada and 1000 minutes for few country for zero dollar upfront. Not from Fido shop but other small booth in mall. I am in Toronto. Activation fee waived and got wireless charger extra. Not sure best deal or not.

This is kind of hot. Looking for a Pixel 3, 8Gb plan will be $65/month + $200 credit + no activation fee + I can sell my 2y old Pixel 2 for at least $100.
Only downside I was with Fido and the coverage was not that great.

Isn't it $75/month for 8 GB on a Small plan?

When I click on the phone shows 6Gb + 2Gb bonus @ $65.
The $75 is 10Gb. I'm in Qc. if it makes any difference.
Second thought I will try to pricematch with Virgin, my current provider. My current contract expires in 2 weeks.

Yeah, plans are cheaper in Quebec than here in Ontario.
The Pixel 3a offer from Fido is a good deal. Better than what's available from the retail stores. Good luck with the price match!

If you're keeping and using the phone, certified pre-owned is pretty much same as new, just test everything on arrival

if you're selling, then you want new

Not as good as their Black friday deal,
It was $200 Bill Credit + $0 Activation fee + $10 off for 15 months (means another extra $150)
