[Fido] Fido $45 2GB with 2GB of bonus data for 24 months

Got this deal yesterday from Fido loyalty department. Called to cancel my service, but they offered, $45 2GB with 2GB of bonus data for 24 months so total of 4GB. It is a great deal for Ontario, considering the normal plan costs $65 for 3GB data.

Nice find OP.

Do you have the promo name or number? Also would you know if this is BYOD?

Sorry, not sure of the promo name or number. They asked me the reason for cancellation, I said Public's offer and Freedom's offer and they offered me this. Yes, it is BYOD.

How do I find out the promo name or number?

They should send you an invoice with the plan name/number. If you've signed up online it should be fairly straightforward to find it.

One can hope. If Shaw gets things rolling, then yeah, we'll have good things in a couple years. Obviously Shaw (Freedom Mobile) knows what's going to happen.
Why can't we all just get along?

I was seriously going to move to Freedom, but this offer was too good for me to pass. At least in my opinion it is. Cheapest plan in Ontario for BYOD is $65 for 3GB. This is $45 for 4GB.

Yeah it is really good for a Ontario plan. I was thinking to switch to freedom but there coverage and data isn't really good outside the GTA so I am still with Fido. I'm going to switch my plan to this one in the morning.

I asked the FB support agent to see what options i had to bump data up. Was offered an additional 2GB loyalty, took about 3 minutes. I'm on a BYOP $60 4GB/roam pulse plan

Not better than the Black Friday deal last year. I pay 36$ (10% off 40$) for 4GB, unlimited province calling and 1000 international minutes.

yeah none of the retentions plans appear to be Fido Pulse plan (ie. spotify). My 2 years of free premium spotify that came with my plan just expired and i've had no luck trying to on a loyalty pulse plan..
