Am tempted. Was paying $80/mo for a whole 10GB that I barely used and did not include visual voicemail and namedisplay. I ended up switching to Freedom and there service is so shit and I'm finding out now that they're overcharging me. I'm thinking of going back to the Dog.

After a couple weeks, go on the online chat and ask if there are any available offers for your line.

They will offer a 8gb $50 plan. They’ll also thrown in data bonuses.

If you left Fido to go to Freedom, you should definitely check out the Winback offer to see if you qualify. Check this long thread for details:

YMMV with the current health situation though, with limited staff even for winback call centers.

Thanks OP.

Was on the $60/6GB but have been averaging only 2-3GB/Mo so this helps me save $135 a year for the time being. 2 mins to switch and no hassle of calling in!!

Zoomer has a 6gb lte plan (unlimited minutes and texts) for $45 a month OR 40.50 a month if you get a phone on a 2 year contract. To me that's a better deal especially if zoomer runs off Rogers.

Yep, deal expires March 31. There's also a $150 credit (100 activation + $50 referral) when you sign up... effectively makes your plan $6.25 cheaper ($34.25/monthly + a free phone) for 2 years!

2x Zoomer Wireless (Rogers): $40.50 (less with friends :)) 6GB 4G LTE, Unlimited Calling & Text

So it looks like there are two deals in a way. If I speak to an agent on the phone, then he offers me $45/mth for 5GB plus $40 activation fee. If I do it online, then it is $50/mth for 5GB, no activation fee and $60 bill credit. The first option over 2 years is cheaper by $20. And it seems as though the people on the phone can't show any initiative to sweeten it a bit more - unless someone has been able to call over and over until they can find a person like this.

Follow up: Tried 4 different CSRs, very inconsistent with their knowledge of online pricing vs. system pricing and ability to think for themselves. For example, CPO for the Samsung S10 should be $15month, based on normally $42/month - $27/month billing credit, 3/4 needed me to explain to them that the total is net $15/month, not $35/month as "the system shows". Shout out to the one guy who then agreed with me and said, "Yeah, it doesn't make sense that a new S10 is $20/month and a CPO is $35/month." However, the CSRs were consistent in not one even budged at trying to waive the activation fee or sweetening the deal a little bit.

If you already have one line, you get additional 2GB on new line on top of 5GB. So you get 7GB/$50.

Where do you see the $60 bill credit if you switch online. Looking to switch my two lines but I don't see it.

Not switching - signing up as a new client. Sorry, but I never mentioned switching.

When does this offer expire? Wondering who else jumped from the $50 4GB to this plan? I guess you give up 1000 INTL Long Distance minutes for 1 more GB.
