Oh geez, switched from Fido three years ago and haven’t looked in the rear view mirror once. I’m now with Public Mobile and get a nearly identical plan for $11.30 - about 1/5th the cost of my old plan with Fido.

I was with PM for the last 3 years as well. Was tempted to switch to their $55/20GB plan ($49 with autopay and loyalty discounts) was quite costly. Came back to Fido on their $30/10GB 12 month pricing plan and I see an offer in-app for $38/25GB lol.

Just got this today, and I can't believe they're still doing this. First time I've got it for both numbers on my account at the same time. Wasn't appearing in app, but as a pop-up on their website one logged in.

I got it this morning BEFORE the SMS went out. I had logged into the website to see my bill and it was there!

I am on the $30 for 10GB plan for 1 year, so now I have 15GB total. Sweet!

This brings me up to 40Gb for $45. For that kind of plan, I can take the occasional forced break! FYI my contract is up in December and according to the app if I wanted to upgrade my phone, I could keep the plan, which was a big worry.

I'm with Rogers but the same offer there is good to accept until November 8th. I'm guessing it's the same with Fido

Got one today on a line I will be porting out soon though. Are sms messages stored and retrievable if I have a sim not in a phone? If I put it in a phone occasionally will I get sms messages from the past I haven’t opened like maybe a Fido extra data message?
