first of all what's so funny? secondly this is for everybody and that one is only for winback. [...]

This seems like a fairly solid deal if Fido is willing to deal. That is, if Fido (Rogers) is good in your area.

Also glad to see that the Freedom effect is having an affect on the other carriers, it's a win for the customers, for once. (hope that was proper use of effect and affect -- damn you English)
Why can't we all just get along?

When was Koodo offering $60 for 15? Can I still jump on that?

Technically. It was $60 for 12. Some members got bonus data. To make it 15gb

I believe the deal is over. You can always call in and try

I got this last month calling in to loyalty. I'm in a Small plan.

I am not laughing at OP, it is just funny to see the difference it can make from winback vs calling as a customer and on the same day of posting. I don't mind that you call me [...] but it is just very sad to see this as a customer.

Is this for existing customers only? I'm currently looking for plan with at least 10gb but can't justify paying $70 - $80 for it.

A true RFD'er hunts for the best deal available. Just like last year when Fido was offering the winback deal with the large plan with 6 or 8gb w.e. it came with a free S9+ or $99 upfront for Iphone x, on a $60/month 6 or 8GB plan (Ontario) -- people were calling out left and right, bluffing cancellation or setting cancellation dates, or actually porting out just to get that deal. Although the OP's post is not technically a bad in-market plan, comparing these 2 same plan's being offered by the same company at $20/month of a difference, I could almost go out on a limb and say $70 is garbage especially when comparing to someone who got the same plan for $50. FYI, I myself got the win-back deal through Fido last year by simply just setting a cancellation date on the next cycle and then I was called within a few days and offered the win-back deal.

Not sure if you completely understand how easy it is/was to get a "win-back" deal is my main point, which is maybe why you called the other guy [...] but I thought the same thing as him.

I thought everyone on this site signed up for the 15gb/$60 plan from Rogers and fido a month or 2 ago. I know I did.

I'm currently with TELUS on 15 GB monthly for 70 bucks. I'd like to switch because for me, the reception with Telus (and Public Mobile, also Telus) has been less than stellar, ON 4 different phones. Would I just be making a mistake? I don't want to be caught up in another price increase

Your $70 byod is not a good deal. For $80 you can get a Large phone subsidy (worth $23 for iphone 11 pro)

$70 for a BYOD plan just really not that hot
Seems like Fido has the same plan for $50 but only available for winback customers
