Not an amazing hot deal, but relatively speaking, in Ontario we get it up the yin-yang when it comes to cell phone plans. So for Ontario, this isn't really a bad deal, just not great.
Tis banana is IRIE 😎

10% off is cold, 50% off is warm, 75% off is hot, but FREE IS RFD!

Fido is a joke. They are the least helpful, possibly even worse than Freedom. Learned my lesson in using anything related to rogers.

$40/10gb should be considered a hot deal, no?

Never had problem with fido, they gave me bonus offer from time to time. Care to elaborate?

50 dollar for 10 GB is bad. Just switch around to get win back. Then get device subsidy. BYOD is not good at that price.

Got my 40/6gb plan, going to ride with it for as long as possible. Thankfully it's grandfathered haha. Anything more than 6gb is useless anyway. I get reminders from koodo that I reached the 50% threshold, but only at the end of the month when the data is about to renew. So in my case, 3gb, or to be safe 4gb would be enough.

Phone plans are getting cheaper (slowly) over time, i was paying $40/5gb 2 yrs ago and that was considered hot deal back then. Don't think it will be that hard to find similar deal 2 yrs later.

Which 1st tier provider offers better deals for brand new customers? Without device.
