[Fido] Fido Existing Customer $35 for 10 months and 11GB Additional Line Plan

I've been a Fido customer for about a year now, I saw a for new additional line for $35 for 11GB. $5off for 24 months and then due to boxing week an additional 3GB + $10 off for 10 months. Is this a good deal?

OP, $35 for 11GB is good, but the details make it more meh.

Anybody with Fido can get this. Just click "Add a line". There also appears to be a $100 credit if you want one of their phones.

It looks like the first 2 or 3 months will be $45. Then 10 months at $35. Then up to another year at $45.
The 11GB seems to be as long as you stay on this.

Depends if you need another line and if you can't find anything better.
You cannot transfer your number directly to another line, but you can if you add this first, port out existing line and then port existing number back into this line. Your number will be unusable for some hours or maybe a day.
Monthly fees
$ 45.00/mo.
One-time fees
$ 0.00

Your purchase includes:
FREE Shipping (2 to 5 business days)
ONLINE ONLY! No Setup Service Fee ($45 value!)
Get $10/mo. off for 10 months! Available on Data, Talk & Text plans starting at $45/mo. when you add a new line. Offer will be applied on your 2nd or 3rd invoice. For a limited time only!
PROMO APPLIED $5/month off for 24 months
PROMO APPLIED 3 GB/month bonus
The $5/month is already applied against the normal $50/month.

As the previous poster said, put $35 for 10 months and 11GB in the title.

Does anyone know if we do a line transfer from Rogers to Fido that it will be eligible for this?

Add a line first, get the plan and a new number, then port in the number from Rogers.

You need to have a line first. Get anything cheap, then add a line. You can then port in to the second line and cancel the first one.
Though you might also want to look at Zoomer for cheap plans. Same Rogers network and LTE data. Might be cheaper/easier, depending.

Are the bills separate if I have my brother add a line? Don't want it to get confusing when paying my part of the bill.

One bill as it is one account. Each line is shown separately so you can tell him what he owes you. Guess it depends on how much you trust your brother to pay you back for his part of the bill.

Then it's a pretty darn good deal, since people were, and still are, willing to part with their first born for a Koodo $40/8GB PM migration plan.

They also offer 7GB for $40 (after $5 discount). Not sure though if the $100 bill credit still applies. Do they look at the $45 threshold before, or after, the $5 discount?

Is this for new activation or can we change plans to get that. I have small tab $40 for 5gb looking to find a better promotion.

I think it's for Add a Line.

Wow....that image for the offer is a bit confusing. The way I read it is that for the fist 10 months, the charges should be $30 before tax ($5/24 months + $10/10 months credit). Then after 10 months, it just the $5/month credit to make it $40 before tax.

What I don't understand is why the ad says $35/month if the $10 is an "additional" offer on top of the regular $5 credit..........................do I need to get my eyes checked?

Just logged in and tried to get this deal.
At no point was the additional $10 off for 10 months offered.
How are people getting this deal?

It just shows up when you click "add a line" and add anything that costs $45/month or more. Cheaper plans do not get the $10 off for 10 months.
