Hi, hopefully this is great deal to some of you, I was at the mobile shop in superstore store today and got this targeted FIDO offer.
$45 plan +$5 for a Lg Velvet , 6GB data, unlimited call
extra $5 off for 24 month.
According to the agent, some targeted promotion also have $0 upgrade fee or 5Gb bonus.
Also got 200k points, can redeem right away for store accessories. $$$$$$$$$$$$$

(Original plan $50 with 4GB, byod, samsung A5)

this is a good deal imo. If you are ok with the LG phone that is.
Apart from the price, I don't like the phone, i think it's a bad phone to use in 2021 with second tier last gen SoC, horrible camera and a not-so-good screen. But with the 200k points, you basiclly got it for free.

They've been trying to get rid of these phone for months. Pretty sure the promo was more than $200 at some point during BF and Boxing Day.

do you still get a $200 bill credit with this plan as you do with fido.ca? Or is the $200 Optimum points in place of that?

Actually, if it's targeted.. do you need any specific code or email in order to get that plan? I'm a new customer wanting to port over a number from Shaw.

The curved edge design for any phone (thanks to samsung) is such a bad design, ruins the deal for me
