I can confirm it works on BYOD as well. When it prompts you to select a plan, there’s a Tab next to it that says “Keep existing plan” and it goes through without a hitch

It ends up being $17.XX per month in BC/ON/QC. It's pretty bullshit that they can pull something like that legally.
its a crafty way of getting lower numbers

here is something for a quote that I did.

P20 Pro.
Full price $950.00
Total Fido Payment Program amount $950.00
Down payment $0.00
Fido Payment Program term 24 months
Monthly payment (plus taxes) $39.58 ( 950 / 24)
Interest rate: 0.00%
Annual Percentage Rate (APR): 0.00%
Cost of borrowing: $ 0.00

total monthly cost = 39.58*1.13 = 44.73

discount = 29.58 (this is after tax )

final monthly cost = 44.73-29.58 = 15.15

what they advertise is 39.58 - 29.58 = ~10 ( rounding a penny)

Definitely don’t condone the way Fido markets the “discount” price. Still a great value IMO. For me, it’s either stock android or Apple phone and there’s no brand new top-of-line Apple phone that could be had for $300. ^_^”

Were you on the 40$ 5GB plan? I tried, and I don't see "Keep Existing Plan" as an option.

you may need to change your plan to $50 5GB, or try to switch to $35 2GB through retention, the $40 5GB( as I have) work when they start finance program but not anymore

your other choice try to get $50 15GB Finance program get $200 credit
