[Fido] Fido YMMV: $75 for 10GB Data, or $85 for 10GB Data with Small TAB

Decided to log into my Fido account and basically found some new promotions available for all of my lines. I don't think these promotions ever went away so I don't know why the original thread got moved to Expired Deals.

Anyways, as the title says, I'm currently offered $75 for 10GB of data, or $85 for 10GB data with Small TAB. YMMV as always. Log into your Fido online account, select a line, and then click "Change Plan" to see what you are offered. Some retailers, such as WOW Mobile, have a promotion right now where the LG G5 is going for $120 - $150 prepaid credit card on the Small TAB. So if you're looking for a 1.5 year old flagship, the LG G5 is a very nice phone to have.

I got offered that $85 for that 10gb plan through the phone (because my LG G6 is still on contract, so no BYOP for me).

I think they're trying to get people who are still on the $30 6gb add-on to shift to 10gb. But with Spotify Premium and the 5hrs of free data, I guess it's not too bad.

I see it on all my 3 lines, thanks OP.

I currently have 1000 international minutes which I do not see in the new plans.

Also will I lose 10% discount I get on 2 lines currently if I change to $75/10gb BYOD plans

I see the same offer on my line. Not worth IMHO. I'm on 50 dollar 5 gig plan.

Yea. I get 8gb for 48$. These plans are not worth it at all.

Sounds like an out of market plan. Meaning from Manitoba/Sasketchewan/Quebec and then you added more data to it or something. Definitely not a straight forward in market plan like what Fido is offering to some customers. This is assuming you live in Ontario or British Columbia of course.

It's probably a Quebec only plan, they get better deals over there.

Fido is saying I will lose 10% multi line discount if I move to $75/10gb. Did anyone else lose their 10% discount on the switch?

I'm on a 6GB/$65 BYOP retention plan but would be willing to re-up with a 2-year term because I need a new phone. However, since I travel and their only decent travel plans are on Pulse I'd need to move to a Pulse plan and the prices for those plans aren't nearly as appealing

Those fido deals are getting colder day in day out. I hope there will be something good for black Friday my agreement ends in that period

These are pulse plans, however they don't work for you as I believe they're only BYOP.

Offered $55 for 6GB, will stick with the $45 for 4 GB plan I currently have as I don't even come close to 4 GB.

This is BS. I don't see any of these offers in my Fido account.
