Goto: http://www.fido.ca/consumer/promotions?setProvince=ON ( look for Laptop with Dog on the screen below green prepaid card)

Edited Nov 27th...adding:
PS...look on the page for a laptop with the Fido dog on the screen below the green prepaid card.

PS 2.... There is a 49.99 installation fee if you don't have a cable wire set up already.

PS 3.... The offer for 3 months free ends November 30 2016. The offer for 60 Mbps for $60 ends Dec 31 2016.

This is almost exactly what I'm getting with Telus right now, and Shaw has something like 150mbps internet for a decent price. Not really a deal.

Also, it looks like to get $50 you have to be a fido customer and DO get a bandwidth cap. Maybe you got a good deal by negotiating it, but it definitely seems to take some work to get. Can you give more info?

No caps, unlimited, no contracts, you don't need to be a Fido customer to get this deal. Remember this is home internet, not cellphone.

I don't mean to call bullshit, maybe it's YMMV, but news articles and Fido's own website disagree:

"Fido said on Thursday that subscribers on postpaid contracts in parts of Southern Ontario and Ottawa are eligible for the $50-a-month offer, which includes 300 gigabytes of bandwidth with download speeds of 30 megabits a second and upload speeds of 5 Mbps.

An unlimited option costs $15 more a month, and non-postpaid Fido customers are charged $20 extra"

No BS...I signed up for it. This is in Ontario. Are you sure you are looking in the right place? Here is the place you need to look: "Promos". Here is the link:

I am using my cellphone for this. It may be different on a Laptop. Look under Promos. This is for Ontario. You maybe on the Calgary page. Make sure you switch if it is the case. I am sorry you are having a problem locating it.

Yes I guess Ontario is the only province it is offering internet for Home. I specified it in the first posting. Sorry for not doing so at the beginning.

Anyone figure out how to make the usb ports on the back of the hitron CGN3AMF router actually work with usb drives? I can get to the drives on my network but they claim to be empty and are unable to transfer files to.
