Yes.
I always bridge the modem and use my own router.

Same here. Rogers wouldn't give me a decent deal after 20 years as a customer, so just switched to Fido (even though it's still Rogers). Such a silly game they make us play.

Can someone tell me the expiry of this promo? Wanted to secure the price but my move date is in mid-April. Fido told me they cannot activate for a future date. Thanks.

How can you verify internet is stable and there are no drops during the day or middle of night? I have jobs running overnight so if there is a drop even for a second my job will fail.
Thanks in advance.

I had random internet drops throughout the day specially around 2am on random days. I don't notice them but for someone who needs uninterrupted service, you would need something like auto switchable backup like rogers business internet with cell data backup. Even when switching to backup data line, there might be some hickups and data packets lost. You can also look into getting both cable and dsl lines into your work/home.

Is there any way I can test this for myself before I cancel Rogers?
Thanks

Fido speed is coming around 250-300 mbps. I have white CODA modem from FIDO. Looks like fido capped that speed to 300mbps? is there any work around to get better speed?

You talk as if you're paying for more than 300 Mbps...

Was also offered ignite 500 for 50 bucks but i am happy with 300 mbps. Cheers to Rogers, no Fido required atm.
$40 for 300 mbps, modem included?
