I will pass on this deal, $60/month is too expensive for me.

I would pay half that price for half the data if it was possible.

By the way does anyone know how Fido works in the US? Do you have to buy a roaming add-on before you go, or can you make/receive calls/text in US even without an add-on?

Virgin Mobile Loyalty Department gave me this plan

5 GB - 60$
- 3 voicemail
- Canada-Wide calling
- Unlimited text

On top of that I have received a $10/month discount for 12 months, so only $50/5 GB for 12 months. I'm sure there will be a deal similar to this one next year so I'm not so worried.
After waiting in hold for 30 minutes to get in touch with the initial rep and ~45 min to be transferred to the loyalty department, it was worth it.

Very happy.

Bell can do it for $50 per phone. Also check with RFD user @mobifree; they have an unlocking business and may be able to do it for much less than that.

You would save 10% off your 2nd and 3rd lines.

What's the difference when buying thru a non corporate store? Virgin and Fido are basically the same (collusion as always) but none the less to port over a number that has to be done in store? Or by phone?

None of this can be done online? Avoiding lines etc
