hmm. I think I'm asking the same question .. existing fido customer. is there any way to byod with the G5 I just purchased from koodo, then somehow port my existing fido # to the new plan?
Second rule of RFD ... don't talk about stocktrack.ca with non-members of RFD
Third rule of RFD ... see first rule. if you don`t know first rule, someone`s following the rules ;)

I am not understanding why this is a good deal? Specially when both koodoo & virgin (not sure if others too) have the BYOP 6GB for 54$ and BYOP 8GB for 55$ (at least for quebec)

It's only a good deal if it's available to the Canadian Wireless No Man's Land known as Ontario, where all competition and good deals go to die.

Quebec has Videotron so you guys get better deals since the cartel actually faces some competition there. The rest of us get the shaft.

If you already on Fido, don't go to the store and waste your time.

They are there to sell and get commissions. Not for customer service and spend 30 minutes with you to help you get this plan. Don't waste your time.

They will just say "call customer service" BS.

Is this a hot deal? Yes kind of because any other places except Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan pay a lot for their phone bills. Usually 2X more.

Only cool people lives outside of those provinces :). Jk
